Fall Foliage Photos
Waiting all year preparing, the trees are ready to put on a dazzling performance of fall colors before hibernation sets in. Dressed in their best colors, the leaves are radiant and stunning as they stand tall and proud. The vibrant rainbow of colors command attention with each tree as magnificent as the next. Each leaf looks hand-painted slightly different from the others with hues of yellows, oranges, and reds. Their branches reach out asking to give them a look as they so deserve. When the show nears the end, its time to close up shop for the winter. The leaves fall off, the wounds heal, and the energy is stored in hopes to start again next year even taller, stronger, and more colorful than before.
The majority of Upstate New York’s geography is filled with mountains, lakes, forests, rivers, and meadows. From the Catskill Mountains to Lake Champlain Valley nature is abundant. During the fall is a great opportunity to take some beautiful nature photos of fall foliage.
Vermont is known for its spectacular fall foliage display with a rainbow of colors across the hills and mountains. There are many quaint towns to stop by and sample the best maple syrup and delicious cheese from a local farm.
Utah puts on its best showing in the fall with colors of oranges and yellows. The Quaker Aspen trees line the trails, in the mountains and along the stream beds.

“Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature’s peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.”
– John Muir
